Digital Past 2014

Opening address announced...

Digital Past is very pleased to announce that the 2014 conference will be opened by Dr Mike Hayworth, Director of the Council for British Archaeology.

Having worked for the CBA in various capacities since 1990, Mike now has responsibility for delivering the organisations strategic directions. The charity's aim to encourage a wide participation in the archaeology and historic built environment of the UK is supported through on-line resources including BRITARCH, an online forum which has attracted over 1,700 members since its launch in 1996, and the e-journal Internet Archaeology and Mike is a keen supporter of the use of digital technologies to aid the heritage sector.
